Amy Carron
Day , Esq.
Amy Carron Day, Esq. focuses her private practice on representing clients in non-litigated family and divorce cases, as well as mediating family and divorce disputes in Manhattan and Katonah, New York (northern Westchester County). Ms. Day received her B.S. degree from Cornell University and her law degree from Brooklyn Law School. She is an Accredited Member of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, an Advanced Practitioner Member of the Association for Conflict Resolution, and a Certified Community Mediator of the New York State Unified Court System. Ms. Day was a Board member of the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York from 1994 through 2000, serving as both a Membership Secretary and the Co-Chair of the Continuing Education Committee. She currently serves as a Director of the Alliance for Mediation and Conflict Resolution, Inc. (AMCR). AMCR is a group of professionally trained mediators with backgrounds in matrimonial law, business and social work, with offices in Manhattan, Westchester and New Jersey.
Ms. Day has served as an adjunct professor at the Brooklyn Law School community mediation clinic and has trained or co-trained mediators in a variety of mediation programs focusing on family, divorce and community mediation. She has been a guest speaker for numerous professional associations and law schools (legal, mental health and divorce financial planning settings) regarding divorce mediation and building a mediation practice.
